The session consists of the pastor and the elders in active service and are responsible for the mission and government of Heritage Presbyterian Church. At Heritage the session meetings follow an order of worship beginning with prayer in the sanctuary. All of our work is an offering to God. Elder (2010) and Nursery
Children's Christian Education Committee Chairperson
Kris Albrecht is the Children's Christian Education Elder, and has served in this position since March 2008. Kris has been an active member of Heritage Presbyterian Church since the move from Bellevue, Washington in 2004. Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and Nursery Duty are her main focus and love.

Prayer Committee Chairperson
Cherie is the elder for the Prayer Ministry. She is a charter member of Heritage, attending since 1980. In addition to being on Session, Cherie is the co-editor of the church newsletter, Heritage Life.
Cherie is married and they have one adult son living in San Diego. She enjoys reading, traveling and theater.
Elder (2010) Church Properties Chairperson Bill has been a member of Heritage Presbyterian Church for approximately nine years. He has served as Properties Elder since March 2008. Bill is also the Head Usher and teaches Senior High Sunday School with his wife Kathy. Prior to joining Heritage, he was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Upland, California where he was the Usher Captain, taught Children's Sunday School and was on the Board of Presbyterian Marriage Encounter. He and Kathy have two daughters and three grandchildren. His hobbies are golf and riding his Harley.

Worship Committee Chairperson
Heidi was born in Kirkland, Washington, and then grew up on a farm in the far northwest corner of Washington State. She became a Christian at a very young age and attended Zion Lutheran church with her family. During college, she recommitted her life to Christ and was active in Christian groups. Heidi also taught Sunday school and served as a Deacon at University Presbyterian Church, the largest Presbyterian church in the greater Seattle area.
After high school Heidi attended a small private college for two years where she played basketball and then completed her education in Broadcast Journalism, graduating from the University of Washington. Heidi worked in both radio and TV for the local ABC station before starting her own promotions based business.
Heidi met her husband, Fred, when their two small businesses (and ultimately the two of them) ended up working on the same projects. They have two daughters, Grace Ann, age 9, and Nicole, age 6, who love to come to Sunday school. They live up north in Anthem, so the commitment to come to Heritage is strong. Since they have no relatives locally, they enjoy the warmth of family relationships at church.
After being a Wife, a Mother and a friend to many, if there’s any spare time Heidi enjoys reading, traveling, and taking day-trip adventures with her family. One of her greatest joys is her 3rd career as a fitness instructor, where she helps others to lead healthy lives and feel good about themselves. The Arthritis Exercise class she teaches weekly at Heritage is terrific…she keeps us working without hurting ourselves. She also teaches fitness and exercise classes at the Country Club in Anthem.
As worship elder, Heidi hopes to work with Kris Albrecht to get children as excited about coming to the worship service as they are about Sunday school. This in turn might get more families with children involved in church. She would like to see the children lead a whole worship service.

Adult Christian Education Committee Chairperson
Jerry is the Adult Christian Education Elder. He is a charter member of Heritage, attending since 1980. Jerry is also part of Heritage's puppet ministry program. Jerry is married to Pastor Karen and they have two married daughters. In May 2008 he became a first-time grandpa. Jerry enjoys golf, their dog Molly - a Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier and spending time in the mountains.

Mission Committee
Born and raised a Presbyterian in Northwest Iowa, Chuck has been serving as mission elder at Heritage for 4 years. When not tending to mission work, he keeps busy with his wife , 4 children, and a vast array of animals.
